OUR MISSION

At Xtreme, we want to help each player grow and develop into the field hockey player they want to be. We pride ourselves in our positive coaching style and highly personal, small group training. We strive to know each of our players' individual skill level so we can take their game to the next level.

Because we understand that academics, community service, and other sports or activities are important in the lives of our athletes, we help our girls balance their dedication to field hockey with their other commitments. At Xtreme, we want our players to be committed, work hard, and push themselves to be the best players they can be.

NoVa Xtreme is committed to building an accessible community for young athletes in a healthy, safe, competitive, and fun environment while providing opportunities for each player to grow and succeed.

OUR BELIEF

Our coaches know that we are coaching a competitive sport in a competitive league. We understand that the idea of winning can consume our athletes. As field hockey coaches of young girls our goal is to help them understand what it truly means to be a winner. We teach them about the importance of always giving their best and understanding that every girl is unique and that they each have their own personal best. We want them to be confident and self assured. We want them to be a person their teammate can trust. We want them to know how to work together to achieve a common goal. As coaches we know that being an athlete makes girls more successful in life and our goal is to give all our girls the tools to become determined, motivated, and self confident in all aspects of their life.
